John Casey
I'm a huge fan of John Casey's drawings and getting to see the process of a 26" x20" drawing transformed into a 11'x5' 1/2" plywood based wall cutout was more than cool. Check out the process here. So awesome!

Going West
I don't care how much technological advancements are made in animation, film making, I am always going to love stop-motion animation the most. 8 months of work with a 10A scalpel blade for a 2 minute long video. The finished piece proves it was well worth the time and effort.
Art school girls
I remember getting a kick out of this Ninjasonik video when I first came across it. The song's making rounds again on Hype Machine and it still gets me laughing. I was guilty of, and still am, of too many of the things they sing about. I guess you can take the girl out of art school, but you can't take art school out of the girl. This one goes out to all my fellow art school girls.
"Yeah, I make zines. You want to go to Pearl Paint with me? We can pick up some colored pencils. You stretch your own canvas? Could you teach me?"

Kate MccGwire
I was so blown by Kate MccGwire's sculpture/installations when I first saw them. Talk about an artist who's mastered their medium, such difficult ones at that.
Luxirare
Luxirare is my absolute favorite blog. She combines fashion with food in a way that I (nor you, I guarantee) had ever seen. Everything is so polished, so sophisticated, drenched with aesthetic finesse in the sexiest and most awe-inspiring way.
She just uploaded a video, a first for Luxirare... Just another medium to take all of my breath away.
Trust me, you have never seen anyone make fresh mozzarella cheese like this before.

Best Art of 2009
Jerry Saltz, art critic, columnist for New York magazine and my favorite Facebook friend, put out his Best Art of 2009 list. Check it out here. He starts it out right with Nicole Eisenman at number 10 (tied with R.M. Fischer.) Her exhibition at Leo Koenig, Inc. in Chelsea was my personal favorite of all the shows I saw while I was out in NYC this fall.

Asian stereotype instruction videos
Maybe these could be pretty hilarious and just slightly offensive as a Funny or Die video but as real "how to" videos... just no.
